Build Software.
Don’t Fight Your IDE.

Tools make or break the coding experience. Gluon provides free IDE plugins to support developers building cross-platform desktop applications.

Our IDE plugins allow you to create and deploy JavaFX applications on Windows/Mac OS X/Linux/etc using your favourite IDE.

Gluon desktop is a commercial development framework, available for free trial. The best way to get started quickly is to use one of our IDE plugins.

  NetBeans

The NetBeans Plugin is called Gluon, and it is available from the NetBeans Plugin Portal or see this guide for more information.

Simply download the plugin, add it to your NetBeans plugins, and start creating applications easily.

Note: In case you have trouble installing via the Netbeans plugin portal (which seems to be experiencing problems lately), you can download this zip file and install in Netbeans via Tools » Plugins » Downloaded

  IntelliJ IDEA

The IntelliJ plugin is available from within IntelliJ itself. Search for "Gluon Plugin" from File » Settings » Plugins, or see this step-by-step guide. We also offer IntelliJ IDEA live templates to make coding JavaFX properties a breeze!

  Eclipse

The Eclipse plugin is available from the Eclipse marketplace. Drag the install button below to a running Eclipse instance or see this detailed guide for more information. Drag to your running Eclipse workspace to install Gluon Plugin
