Busy times are ahead for the Gluon team, with a few of the team travelling to JavaOne to give a number of presentations (and the rest of us staying back to keep working on our consulting projects and upcoming releases of Gluon Mobile and Gluon CloudLink, etc). During JavaOne we will be talking about Java on Mobile, and about the connection between Java Mobile and Enterprise/Cloud back-end systems. We have worked very hard over the past months and we are eagerly waiting to demonstrate the improvements we have made on our different products and in the Java ecosystem.
To kick it off, Johan Vos and Jose Pereda will talk about Gluon during NetBeans day on the Sunday before JavaOne. They will talk about how easy it is to create native iOS and Android applications in Java using the NetBeans IDE. Below is a short trailer that gives an overview of what they will be presenting. If you are interested, make sure to register for session UGF6432 on Sunday at 4:30 pm in Moscone South – 104. See you there!
