Scene Builder is a very popular drag & drop user interface designer tool for JavaFX. It allows for rapid iteration and separation of design and logic for team members to quickly and easily focus on their specific layer of application development. With over 900,000 downloads since Gluon started distributing it in 2015, Scene Builder clearly is a widely used tool.
New Release
The Gluon engineering team keeps improving Scene Builder, in very close collaboration with the community. Today, we are happy to release a brand new Scene Builder version.
With Java 10 available, we are pleased to announce the release of Scene Builder 8.5.0 and Scene Builder 10.0.0.
These releases bring considerable improvements including:
- Support for the latest Java 8 and Java 10 releases
- Improved support for shape editing options
- Improved Japanese translations
- The font editor can be used on custom controls
- Support for Gluon Mobile 5.0.0
- A large number of bug fixes and performance improvements

On popular request, the Scene Builder open source project has a new home at GitHub and we have added a wiki, to help getting started.
